Hi, I'm Sadaf.
I'm so glad you're here.
Like many of us, my journey has been one of finding my way back to myself. Through connection, with others, with nature, and ultimately within, I discovered that healing isn't about becoming someone new; it's about remembering who we've always been.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in architecture and interior design, creating spaces where people could live, gather, and feel at home. While I loved that work, I realized I was being called to help create a different kind of space, one where people could come home to themselves.
I have had the privilege of learning from some of the leading voices in trauma, attachment, and nervous system science, including Dr. Gabor Maté, Dr. Stephen Porges, Peter A. Levine, and Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. Their teachings, together with my own lived experience, continue to shape the way I hold space for others.
Today, I am a Registered Trauma-Informed Clinical Counsellor, Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, and Breathwork Facilitator. My work is rooted in an integrative, trauma-informed approach that honours the wisdom of the mind, body, and nervous system. Rather than trying to fix what's broken, I believe healing begins when we feel witnessed in our process, safe in our bodies, and held with compassion.
When I'm not in the therapy room, my greatest joy is spending time with my son. I also find nourishment in nature, meaningful conversations, and lifelong learning. These moments remind me that healing often happens in the quiet spaces of connection, with ourselves, the people we love, and the world around us.
I believe we are all wired for connection and love. Sometimes life's experiences pull us away from ourselves, but healing is always possible. It would be an honour to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom and find your way back home—to yourself.
